Lithographs are a little less expensive than giclees. Lithographs are limited to a run of 850, whereas giclees are to a print run of 195 copies. Each print is signed and numbered. The printing methods are different - lithographs are on a big drum printing all 850 at one time, not unlike the printing of posters or brochures. The Giclee printing process produces a high quality, vibrant print on paper stock similar to that of water colour paper. It is an individually printed limited edition reproducing the luminosity and colours of the original palette.

Mounting and framing are separate steps that can be used together for a beautiful display of your print.

Printing on paper can be prone to warping or buckling. Mounting prevents this and gives the images a solid basis for display by fixing them to a firm backing. A mounted print can also be more easily handled for framing with less risk of damage.

Mounting also provides options when it comes to frame sizes. Instead of being limited to standard frame sizes for wall display, a mounted image can be inserted into a much larger frame, or a frame of non-standard dimensions, by trimming the mounting board to fit the frame.

Our giclées are sent mounted to mainland UK only.

It would be advisable that a professional framer should frame your print. We also recommend that you allow the framer to remove the print from the tube. Re-rolling the print and placing it back into the tube can cause creases if handled without care.

Mainland UK only - Giclées are sent mounted, wrapped in protective acetate and packaged flat. Lithographs are sent carefully rolled inside a strong, protective postal tube.

Worldwide - Both giclées and lithographs are sent carefully rolled inside a strong, protective postal tube.

Yes, each print is signed by the artist. At the baseline of the image the limited edition print number and the artist’s signature is written in pencil.

There are 850 lithos of one image, plus 50 Artist Proofs. There are 195 Giclees of one image, plus 20 Artist Proofs.

Unfortunately we only supply lithos unmounted.

Shipping a print mounted outside the UK is costly and the chance of damage to the package is high. We'd recommend having the print mounted and framed in your own country. However, occasionally the small giclées can be sent internationally with a mount. Please email us directly for pricing.

We tend not to supply framed prints as the delivery is costly.

We release new prints every so often.

The Giclee printing process produces a high quality, vibrant print on paper stock similar to that of water colour paper. It is an individually printed limited edition reproducing the luminosity and colours of the original palette.

We pack the print securely. We mount the giclee to give the print extra protection and wrap them in acetate for safe handling (Mainland UK only). If the shipping company have been careless, we often find that it is only the mount that has been damaged and we can compensate for a new mount.

Worldwide - Both giclées and lithographs are sent carefully rolled inside a strong, protective postal tube.

If it is evident that the print was damaged in transit, we will send a new print. We ask you to score out the number and send us a photo, so we can rewrite that same number of the print. If the shippers have been careless, we often find that it is only the mount that has been damaged and we can compensate for a new mount.
